Reverend Mitton – The Silver Line EP

Nothing comes easy.  Pretty standard.  More often than not, there is a silver lining to all the dark clouds you face if you keep your head down and work hard.  The universe has an uncanny way of providing when we are given some kind of sign.  A change of focus, some hard work and that’s just what we got from Reverend Mitton and his new EP on Caboose records.

Gimme Something is an absolute corker.  A piano driven house groove with a classic vocal and late 60’s organ break to make for an elegant and involving house tune that is sure to please any and all of dance floors that it touches.  He’s definitely given us some kind of sign!

Remember Who lifts our spirits up!  Another classic vocal is the star of the show in this soul infused house gem, teasingly cut up before unleashing all of its glory upon us!  Sometimes the best message is a simple one. Remember who you are!  We are listening Reverend, loud and clear.

Bayou Boogaloo is a deep and techy journey, sparking the imagination by incorporating eerie hypnotic underlying melodies permeated by dubby vocals that add a distinct flavour to the overall aesthetic.

Groove is the name of the game for this EP.  Get in it and don’t let go!
